It is July and that means it is High Summer. That means it is hot, but it also means that the wildflower season has passed its peak. However, that doesn't mean there was plenty of specimens. Led by the last of the rhododendrons, Rosebay there are others leftovers like some late Mountain Laurel, to Deford Pink and Oxeye Daisy. Then there were first-timers like
Hemlock Water-Parsnip and
Field Bindweed. There were also diverse places like the top of Unaka Mountain to a set of waterfalls and the Appalachian Trail (AT) too. With that said here are photos of the Wildflowers from July 2020...
