Dog Search Led To One Last Winter Hike

Because of the weather forecast, I decided not to go out for a hike. Today I planned an exercise hike after getting a few things done. However, Dad and Terry's new dog Lester got loose again, so I ended up doing some off-trail hiking heading up to what I am calling Cantrell Ridge, which is behind the house. I ended up doing about a mile-and-a-half hiking around looking for him. I should say about Lester is he is a rescue who they got from the Johnson City Animal Shelter. He has issues and when he gets loose he is hard to track down. Unfourtaley as of writing this he is still missing. I will add an update later.

**Update**
Lester is back safe and sound!

More From A Picturesque Day On Max Patch

With places as amazing as Max Patch, you know that there would have to be a PhotoBlog. It was a beautiful day Friday on one of the best spots on the Appalachian Trail (AT) in the south (or anywhere). Because of this, I have plenty of photos for this blog. Anyway, enough talking and here are the pictures...enjoy!
