Pink & Orange Skies In The Even Means Hiking In The Morning

I haven't gotten my blog up on my weekend backpack to the Virginia Highlands because I had to go to the Cabin in Southwest Virginia the last three days.

It's still summer so mowing was first on the agenda, but I did get a nice pink sky at sunset. That meant good news for Tuesday morning as I got out for a hike with Bax and was highlighted by a find of a Bald-Faced Hornet nest. Today it was something I was familiar with from Sunday...rain for the trip home.
