Mowing & Hiking In The Hot June Sun At The Cabin

Summer is here, that was obvious on my early week trip to the Cabin in Southwest Virginia.
Dad and I went over on Monday because it was time to mow. However, the old Craftsman had other ideas because two of the three bolts on the mower blade broke. The yard (if you can really call it that) is rough on mowers. Oh, and the Spring sistren didn't help matters. This all meant that I wouldn't get done until Tuesday and had to weed-eat after.

Because of this (as Pete talked about) we didn't get out to hike until afternoon, where it was 90+ for the second consecutive day. Even with the hot temperatures, I did set by the fire pit Monday and Tuesday evening, which was nice.
