Well, Pete here, after an excellent night on Brier Ridge I carried the Lummox on the AT (Appalachian Trail) back to Elk Garden. I wanted to hike up from here to Whitetop Mountain, but the Lummox was tired, so we drove up.
However, we hiked the AT out to Buzzard Rock and the smaller Hawk Roost. Then I drug the pansy...I mean the Lummox up to the top of Whitetop Mountain! I wanted to go back down to the AT, but he wanted the shorter hike down the road. Anyway, there were some good views. Well, the Lummox will have some revisionist history soon but I out...BITCHES!
Also hope some photos on this one, and would it have been a decent alternate for us to backpack?
