The first of September is the unofficial end of Summer and also the wind-down of Wildflower Season. So, the August edition of the Wildflower blog is the last monthly one for 2020 and until March. The Fall and Winter editions cover three months each. As the final regular month, August didn't disappoint. There were a lot of the late-season flowers like two types of Jewelweed, Milkweed and Bee Balm. There were even some holdovers from High Summer like Rosbay Rhododendrons.
