How do you make one of East Tennessee's most beautiful waterfalls even more beautiful? Hike it in the snow and that is what I recently did to Margarette Falls.
Those not new to the blog know that this wasn't my first trip here. I have hiked here on a number of occasions once in summer, but mostly in autumn (it is my annual Halloween Hike). However, this was my first winter hike here and it had the added bonus of snow. Plus, I was the first person on the trail because the only tracks I saw on my trek in were my own...nice! It was a beautiful day at an even more beautiful place.
