What A Difference A Week Makes...Hiking On A Hot Spring Day To Squibb Creek Falls

One weekend I am hiking in snow on the Roans, the next it is more like summer at 80 degrees hiking to Squibb Creek Falls. As May fast approaches here is a look back on a hike that felt more like the what is to come. Chasing Snow in the Heart Of Spring On The Roans

Well, April is quickly coming to an end and as things green up headed into May I am putting an end to the trappings of winter. Even though it was spring and April there was still snow. As I mentioned in my hike to the Jump Off I chased snow one more time...at the Roans. The hike was from Carvers Gap to Grassy Ridge Bald.
