Pre-NFL Hike @ Little Sawnee Mountain - Part Two

This is a photo blog of my hike from this past Sunday morning. Here is the link to the first blog.

Early morning at the visitor center.

Autumn colors.

Sign points the way.

Yes, that way.

Winding trail.

Deb bundled up & charging ahead.

Need Turtle Fur & gloves to start.

Still nice fall colors.

The autumn trail.

Here are...
...some more...

...fall colors & the sun.

Deb zigzaging.

We went up the steeper side...

...Deb had no trouble.

My favorite tree in the preserve.

Heading up...

...& around.

I stopped took a photo in the upper Gold Mine...

...& when I got home I saw this, it looks like a cat?

Deb on the way to...

...the Indian Seats.

On the Indian Seats...

...& the view.

Deb near the seats.

Headed up to the overlook.

The view from the overlook

From the rocks.

On the rocks.

The vista from outcrop...

...at the end of the trail.

Headed back down.

Sun & fall colors.

Deb headed down.

Panorama of the trail.

Sat on the Big Seats & now the little ones.

Deb on the Little Seats.

The Eaglet Trail is really nice...

...this time of the year...

...while fading it had the best color...

in the park today.

The colors of...

...the Eaglet Trail.

Headed back to the visitor center...

...we pass the lower Gold Mine.

This might be the trail that will lead through Tribble Gap to the summit.

More of autumns beauty...

...on the lower Indian Seats Trail...

...soon these will be gone...

...winter will reign.

More on the trail.

Morning sun & fall colors.

Deb on the trail.

Nice.

The tree house.

One last look at autumns beauty.

A trip to the Preserve would not be complete without Sawnee.

The Indian Seats & Little Sawnee Mtn.
