First Time Day Hike Blog From Rocky Fork State Park

Well, today I made my first foray into Tennessee newest State Park...Rocky Fork.
For those who don't know it is located above Erwin, but it has yet to be fully developed. That means it has no visitor center or bathrooms. I will blog in more detail, but today I just scratched the surface of this wonderful State Park.
I hiked on the Rocky Fork Trail and out the Flint Creek Trail to the site of a battle where, in 1789, John Sevier ambushed a Cherokee Camp. But the main part of the day was spent gong up the really steep trail to White House Cliffs...what a view! Anyway, there is no question I will be coming back to this great place.
