Rain...I know it is a good thing, but I am sick of it cancelling my backpacking trips.
I had one scheduled for this weekend on the Roan and had it cancelled like two previous ones, Mount Rogers at the start of June and North Chickamauga in May. It wasn't just rain, but heavy rain and thunderstorms that were at issue.
I have one scheduled for next weekend at Mount Mitchell, so fingers crossed. Oh, as for the Roans I am doing it this summer... period!
