Wildflowers For The Second Half Of May 2019

The end of May brings to a close the Spring part of Wildflower Season. Since I did a blog on the First Half of May this one will cover the second. I got to see ones I see around this time like Deptford Pink or ones I haven't seen in a few years like Venus Looking Glass or new ones like Viper's Bugloss. It also is the time for two heavy hitters...Pink Lady Slippers (last photo from Buffalo Mountain) and Mountain Laurel (cover photo also from Buffalo Mountain), which I saw plenty of. So with that said here are the Wildflowers for the second half of May...enjoy!
