While It Is Late Autumn Winter Arrives Early With Snow In St. Clair
Snow...while the higher elevations had some last week, this morning we received the first one here in St. Clair. While snow in November is not unusual, but it is usually around Thanksgiving (like the picture from Max Patch).
This one here at 1,200 feet in elevation is the earliest I remember for some time. It wasn't a lot just enough to cover the ground and since it was wet stick to the trees. Something else that is supposed to happen tonight is it is supposed to get really cold, into the low teen's. So, this late Autumn snow might last more than a day...
