Because our week at Emerald Isle was washed out, Deb and I decided to take a mini-vacation on the
Blue Ridge Parkway and stay at the
Pisgah Inn on Thursday. Because Deb didn't want to hike she checked us in while I hiked to
Mount Pisgah and then back to the Inn. After that we ate dinner at the Inn and enjoyed the great view from our deck, which included one of the best beers I have had Wicked Weed's Dark Age (Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout). I will write more later, but Pisgah Inn is...nice!
