Day One: Saint Clair To Jacksonville
Well, today (Sunday) is our first day in Jacksonville, Florida. We, Deb, Terry, my Dad and I, after leaving Saint Clair started the day at Cracker Barrel in Newport, where I had a double yoke egg. We stopped at the North Carolina Welcome Center on the other side of Davenport Gap (first for me). Then we made it through Hell...I mean Columbia, South Carolina. It was 103 degrees there today, I refer to Columbia as Satan's Cat-hole! Then it was on to Georgia and finally Florida and the NAS JAX (Naval Air Station Jacksonville), finishing with dinner at Mulligan's Restaurant and Bar at the base golf course across from Navy Lodge.
