Once again it Black Friday it was time for the annual Knoxville Ice Bears game. This is a tradition dating back to the first season of the Knoxville Speed in 1999. We always start the evening at Stefano's Chicago Style Pizza on "the Strip" (Cumberland Avenue near the University of Tennessee).
Then it over to the Le Colisee (Knoxville Civic Coliseum) for the game. On this night the Ice Bears were playing the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs (I know it is a stupid name). It turned out to be a good night as the Ice Bears won 2-1.
Oh, it was also Wiener Dog Race Night. This has also become a tradition on Thanksgiving weekend and it is what it says Wiener Dogs race on the ice, it is a spectacle to behold. It was a overall a fun night.
