Tonight was the annual Holiday Dinner and Auction with the Clinch Coalition at the Tacoma Community Center near Norton, VA. This was my second time at the event that takes place the first week of December. There was music, plenty of food and a number of people were recognized including a group of firefighters battling wildfires in the area. The main speaker was Mitch Whitaker who did the Birds of Prey presentation at the High Knob Naturalist Rally back in September, talked about bird rehabilitation and other things we can do. Finally, closing out the evening was the auction with all proceeds going to the Clinch Coalition. It was a great event as always.
