It was supposed to rain all week, and because of that we didn't put up a outing on Hike Georgia. Well, it didn't rain like they said so I want to apologize to any of my group who sees this, I am sorry. So, with no rain today I had to get out and what better place than my backyard mountain...Sawnee. It was a nice hike of 4.7 miles, I did have to take a detour at the start because they were clearing a tree from the trail. The view from the Indian Seats was cloudy, but nice. It looks like Forsyth County is replacing the information boards at the Indian Seats and observation deck. Oh, there is also a new carp in the pond at the visitors center, I named him/her ghost. It was a good day out.
