I know am a little late getting to this month's wildflower blog because of all the changes that have happened lately. Hell, I even thought of putting July and August together, but I decided against that and move ahead with the one for July. While I didn't get out as much as I would have liked and July's selection of wildflowers might not be as good as some blogs earlier in the spring (or as good as this month last year) I did happen upon some good specimens. Early in the month I found Rosbay Rhododendron at Elk River Falls and in the Smokies on the Roaring Forks Motor Nature Trail. Then later in the month in Southwest Virginia I spotted Bearsfoot, Rabbit Tobacco and Milkweed. So, with that said here is the July Wildflower Blog.
