Today, while in Johnson City I stopped for a bite to eat at the Red Pig BarBQ. I have eaten here recently, but I hadn't dined in the restaurant in nearly 15 years. Today I went for the barbecue pork sandwich and baked beans. I love me some pork meat and the sandwich was excellent. I have to say after my recent visit to Dixie Barbecue that Red Pig maybe the best in JC. The baked beans were top notch too. I finished my lunch off with a delicious piece of coconut cream pie. Also everyone running the joint was really nice, so I know I will be going back. Next time I will have to get the ribs.
