Well, it never seemed the rain would stop but today it finally did. So, today, it gave me the opportunity to get out and do a hike at Sawnee Mountain Perserve. While sunny it was quite cool and windy. There was some nice wildflowers and the maintenance crews at the Preserve had done some work. They added wood entrances to the upper and lower Gold Mines. They also put up a map sign at the Indian Seats Trail junction with the Bypass Trail. Also the new trails maybe open in the summer, but progress has been slow because of the rain, imaging that!
