On Monday, since the weather was more early autumn than summer I decided to tackle a hike from Round Knob Recreation Area to Sheldon Graves. The main purpose of the hike was to complete the Appalachian Trail (AT) Section from Allen Gap to Devils Fork Gap, 20.3 miles. All I need was 1.5 miles from Big Butt to Shelton Graves.
On the way, I also passed Jerry's Cabin, the meadow on Coldspring Mountain and the high point of Greene County...Gravel Knob. All-in-all it came out to almost 13 miles and I completed my section.
