Two Days of Pictures Highlight A Weekend In The Shining Rock Wilderness

This past weekend I was back at the Shining Rock Wilderness for another of Will's backpack with the Harvey Brooms Group of the Sierra Club. I went over this hike in detail last year and did a Day Blog of the hike so this entry will be all about photos. Oh, Pete will have something to say about this outing, so stay tuned. Anyway, here are the photos...enjoy!

Parking at the trailhead.

Headed up the Mountains-to-Sea & Art Loeb joint trail.

Trail fence.

Headed toward Black Balsam Knob.

Art Loeb is white blazed.

Headed down the trail.

Looking back at the vista of Black Balsam Knob & Tennent Mountain.

Off the balds...

At the campsite...

...my tent.

Where I got water.

Did have some clouds drift through.
