It has been a while since I did a From....blog, actually the last one I did was of Georgia’s Highest Mountain, Brasstown Bald, so why not do Georgia’s second tallest and one of the Georgia Giants...Rabun Bald. This mountain is stands at 4,696 feet which makes it 87 feet shorter than Brasstown Bald. I will say that Rabun has the better view and it just might be the best in Georgia. As I pointed out in this blog, it takes more effort to reach Rabun’s summit than Brasstown. I have been to the top of Rabun twice, once in 2013 and then in late 2014. I will add that it maybe my second favorite mountain in Georgia (Blood Mountain would be Number One). So, with that said here is the From....blog for Rabun Bald.
